Orange is the New Black and Shameless: Here’s what’s coming to Netflix this July

July is just a few days and we all know what that means: a whole host of new shows and movies coming to Netflix.

Of course, the World Cup is on too – so some of you are probably far too busy watching soccer… or football as it is known on the other side of the Atlantic (and everywhere else in fact).

But if sport isn’t your thing, then here are some truly great options coming over the next month.

If you want to catch yourself up on why trying to tame dinosaurs is always a bad idea (yes, we’re looking at you Chris Pratt), the original Jurassic Park lands on the service on the first day of the month.

In fact, so do the sequels, Jurassic Park: The Lost World and Jurassic Park III. If you want to be roaring with laughter instead, then take a look at Happy Gilmore, which also arrives on the first.

The absolutely brilliant Her arrives later in the month. That’s a movie for anyone who spends a slightly too much time thinking about operating systems.

Gone Baby Gone is another fantastic film which will be making an appearance, but if you’re in more of a binge mood then the sixth season of Orange is the New Black should do the trick.

The women’s prison-based show returns with new episodes on July 27th. Shameless’ eight season will also be on the streaming service from July 28th.

Sci-fi thriller, Extinction, was saved by Netflix after Universal Pictures dropped it. You can decide whether or not that was a good idea when it lands late in the month.

In terms of Netflix originals, White Fang looks to be an interesting proposition. It includes voice-acting from Nick Offerman, Rashida Jones, Paul Giamatti, and Eddie Spears, which is quite the cast.
