In what seems like a genius throwback move, Crayola has come out with an all-new makeup line.
Produced via Laughing Squid, the collection has been created in collaboration with the online fashion and beauty retailer ASOS.
We have heard from a reliable source that in the past, many children played with their crayons pretending they were actually make-up items. Many of those kids have now grown up and will not have to pretend anymore, as Crayola’s complete line of 58 pieces is there to buy and use.
The collaboration includes eyeshadow palettes, a face palette, mascara, blush and brushes. However, those aren’t the best bits; that is reserved for the face crayons, which can be used on the eyes, lips, and cheeks.
They all come in a wide range of colours too, which is exactly what you’d expect from Crayola.
The classic yellow and green box packaging will have you yearning for the days of yore and the entire collection is available on ASOS and is sure to be a lot of fun.
We’re hoping Crayola goes for edible crayons next, because as kids, some of us had more interest in eating the colours, rather than painting with them.
